Michael here. If you’re receiving this, it’s because you’re a fellow entrepreneur, investor, operator, or creative I’ve had the privilege of meeting along the way. I want to personally welcome you to the first edition of The Art of Holdings newsletter. This is the first of many editions where I’ll be sharing ideas, offering opportunities for collaboration, and most of all, adding value to you, my community.

If you know me, you know my career path has been anything but conventional. I’ve worked and invested in various roles and companies in emerging industries, which has shaped my perspective on leadership, management, and business as a whole. Here’s a snapshot of the industries I’ve been immersed in and which we’ll explore here:

Through these experiences, I’ve built a network of partners, experts, founders, inventors, and investors—along with a collection of philosophies, ideas, and best practices. Now, I’m excited to build a community where we can come together to learn, grow, and succeed—both in business and in life.

What Is The Art of Holdings?

The Art of Holdings (TAO) is, at its core, a consulting, advisory, and investment platform that has evolved with every new opportunity, challenge, and experience I’ve faced. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s famous quote, “Being good in business is the most fascinating kind of art. Making money is art and working is art, and good business is the best art.” I see business as more than transactions or the chase for profit. For me, business is a lifestyle—an opportunity to create, connect, and build a vision for a future that is lasting and impactful. Part art, part science.
