The Art of Holdings #14

“If you think investing in climate solutions is expensive, try ignoring the problem.”
Hey friends,
Every so often, a company crosses my path that checks all the boxes:
✅ Mission-driven
✅ Real-world traction
✅ A massive, growing market
✅ And an opportunity to create impact and generate returns.
AISIX Solutions Inc. (TSXV: AISX) is one of those companies, and today they announced an exclusive Private Placement fundraising round.
As many of you know, I’ve spent much of my life living between Northern and Southern California, where wildfire season isn’t just something we watch on the news, its something we often have to plan our lives around. Too much smoke in the sky to safely go outside. Ash on our cars. Seeing burned, black hills of nature and homes taken by fires. Over the years, it’s only gotten worse.
This year’s devastating fires in Los Angeles hit too close to home. Many of my friends were directly affected, and I know many of you reading this were too. For those of us who have lived in California or have loved ones there, the need for better climate risk mitigation is more important now than ever.
AISIX has built one of the world’s most accurate wildfire prediction models and it’s already proving itself in Canada. Now, the team is raising capital to expand globally, including into California and the U.S., where I believe this technology is needed most.
I’ve been fortunate to be close to the company as an investor and advisor, and I’m dedicating this edition to this opportunity because I believe it’s a rare intersection of doing good for the planet while also generating serious upside for investors.
If this sounds interesting to you, it is worth a few minutes of your attention.
Let’s dive in.
Opportunity
Why I’m Backing AISIX and Why You Might Want In Too
Wildfire season is here and AISIX Solutions Inc. is proving just how ahead of the curve it is.
Earlier this year, their Wildfire 3.0 model identified three high-risk communities: Fort Smith, Swan Hills, and Kenora. All three are now facing active wildfires.
This has translated to a whirlwind of local and national press for the company, with stakeholders in the insurance industry taking note. It recently led to a data-services contract with the climate-risk division of an S&P 500 company, and interest is accelerating.
To fuel the next phase of growth, AISIX has opened a C$2.5M financing round and I wanted to share the opportunity with my network before it closes.
Here’s why I think this round is worth your attention:
✅ Field-Proven Tech: 2025 fire predictions just confirmed on the ground
📈 Traction with Giants: First S&P 500 client secured; more in the pipeline
🌍 $60B+ Climate Risk Market: Growing urgency and demand for solutions
💰 Liquidity: AISIX is publicly traded, which means there’s liquidity if you want to exit sooner than later
💸 Compelling Entry Point: Still undervalued vs. peers despite validation and growth
🕒 Tight Window: Allocations expected to close by July 19
The raise is a non-brokered private placement, offering units at C$.035 with warrants (2-year term at C$0.065 strike).
Funds will support:
Hiring enterprise reps
Global expansion (U.S. & EU pilots + certifications)
Model supercharging (from 30M → 100M simulations/hourly refreshes)
Debt retirement and runway extension through 2026
If this sparks curiosity, just reply to this email and I can get you connected with the leadership team. No pressure, just a chance to walk you through it and answer questions.
Prefer to dig in on your own first? I’m happy to send over the Investment Deck and/or term sheet.
Let’s talk while the window’s open. This is a rare moment to get in at the inflection point.
Gratefully,
Michael and the Art of Holdings Team
